FUTURE EXPRESS TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
A concept that will enable traffic solutions of the future. - Designed by Martin Etzl
We are proud to present you a new air mobility concept for passenger transportation for metropolitan areas.
The aircraft concept has vertical take-off and landing capabilities and is driven by hydrogen fuel.

The mind changing city- and regional-VTOL revolution will come with large public passenger transport drones. Imagine if you could sit into a “flying subway” that brings you from JFK airport to Manhattan in less than 10 minutes, or from JFK airport to New Haven in 25 minutes.
There are already dozens of eVTOL (electrical vertical take-off and landing) drones in development all around the world. Why should there be another VTOL concept on the market?
Today’s passenger drones have capacities from 2 to 5 pax. They will for sure gain some market shares in the transportation market, because they will reduce the price for individual point-to-point air transportation. But individual traffic with small eVTOL will not be more than 0,5% of the total passenger traffic in a city.
So, shouldn’t we also think about enabling a technology that will substitute another 0,5% of today’s metropolitan traffic?
Bigger passenger drones in line operation can help to reduce ground traffic on high volume routes while offering a fast travel time for the passengers.
Main data of the aircraft concept
Length: 15 m
Wingspan: 22,5 m
Capacity: 30 passengers
Cruise Speed: 320 km/h (200 mph)
Acceleration: 0 to 320km/h in 13 sec
Range: >300 km
Power: 12 x 560 kW
Fuel: 220 kg pressurized hydrogen
Operating costs: 1$ per pax per km
ECONOMIC VIABILITY
Ensuring total stakeholder value
A competitive advantage is crucial for success. Without an improvement for the environment, the passengers and other stakeholders, there is no point in investing into a new idea.
This passenger-VTOL-concept has unique advantages as well as some challenges.

TECHNICAL VIABILITY
Keep the system realizable
The difference between a dream and a viable concept is the adherence to physical boundaries. As dreams are beautiful and physical boundaries are brutal, you should adhere to the physical boundaries, if you want to realize your dream.
This concept underlies certain physical limitations. To fit the technical possibilities into these limitations, the propulsion technology for this concept was chosen wisely.
